3D Projection Mapping

Architecture, objects and entire venues transformed through precisely mapped moving images.

3D Projection Mapping Service

StudioZ is an experiential live production design company that is headed by the pioneer 3D projection mapping production installation and production creators and engineer in Bangladesh, featured in multiple mainstream news media, that builds attractive light projection setups. The founder is also published as authorized trainer for Resolume, Madmapper and HeavyM ambassador, for his community building side-career.

3D Projection Mapping turns any physical surface into a programmed visual canvas. Studio Z designs and executes mapped visual content precisely aligned to buildings, stages, structures and irregular surfaces — architecture built by Bangladesh’s first projection mapping studio.

What is 3D Projection Mapping?

Projection mapping is not projecting a video onto a wall. The content and the surface are designed as one system. Studio Z handles the visual design, content build, mapping and live show execution needed to make architecture move.

3D Projection Mapping by Studio Z BD, production photo 1

How We Do It

  • Content built specifically for the surface’s real geometry — never a generic video stretched to fit
  • In-house projector fleet: for large-scale surfaces
  • Precision alignment accounting for brightness, viewing distance and ambient light
  • Redundancy built into every rig — backup hardware runs on every show, standard

Where It Fits

National landmarks, government ceremonies, large-scale launches, cultural productions, corporate events, stage environments and architectural activations.

Our Projection Mapping Experience

Studio Z has mapped the National Parliament (Sangsad Bhaban) — the largest single-surface run in Bangladesh to date. The founder did country’s first building projection mapping in 2015. Other work includes German Unity Day and Australia Day 2026, both for foreign diplomatic missions in Dhaka.

Laser Mapping

Programmed laser beams that trace physical space in sync with music and show cues.

Bring Precision Light to Your Next Launch

Standing out in a crowded market means going beyond static lighting. Laser Mapping uses programmed animated laser beams to draw, trace and transform physical space and structure — architecture, air, water or crowd space, timed precisely to music and show cues. Studio Z runs this as a standalone production, not only as an add-on to projection or LED work.

What Makes Laser Mapping a Game-Changer?

1. Precision Beam Choreography

Every beam path is programmed against the real geometry of the venue or stage, not projected blindly into the air. The result is a show that moves with intention — synced to music, cues, and the physical space itself.

2. Scales Independently

Laser mapping is sold as its own production line at Studio Z, scoped independently of projection or LED bookings. That means it fits launches and stages of very different sizes without needing a bigger production around it.

3. Still Uncommon in Bangladesh

Professional animated laser choreography is rare on the local event circuit. Offering it puts a brand ahead of the visual curve — and gives audiences a moment worth filming.

Laser Mapping by Studio Z BD, production photo 1

Use Cases That Work

Product Launches — trace product silhouettes or reveal moments in light rather than on a screen.

Concerts & Brand Activations — beam effects that carry the visual moment on their own.

Architectural & Stage Accents — laser geometry layered onto a venue’s physical structure.

Laser Mapping by Studio Z BD, production photo 2

How Studio Z Delivers It

  • Animated laser output from 6W to 15W depending on venue scale and throw distance.
  • Beam paths programmed and synced to the wider show, not run in isolation.
  • Scoped and quoted as its own production line — independent of projection or LED bookings.
  • Venue and safety geometry assessed before any beam path is finalized.
Laser Mapping by Studio Z BD, production photo 3

Proof

Studio Z’s laser mapping work includes the ENOVAR product launch and the Laser Gambit show — real venue deployments of the same animated-beam system used in this service.

How to Book

Consultation — discuss the event goals, venue and vision.

Concept & Beam Design — a beam-path plan aligned to the venue and brand.

Pre-Production — programming, rehearsal, technical and safety prep.

Event Day Execution — full on-site delivery.

Post-Show Recap — content handed over for reuse.

FAQs

What venue sizes work best? Depends on ceiling height, throw distance and beam geometry rather than square footage alone — assessed during consultation.

Is it suitable for outdoor events? Yes, with venue and safety assessment — outdoor throw distances and haze/atmosphere conditions are evaluated per production.

Can laser mapping be combined with projection or LED? Yes, though it’s also sold and scoped as a fully standalone service.

What determines setup time and technical requirements? Venue access, rigging points, laser class/power and stage size — assessed per production rather than fixed in advance.

Holography

Life-sized visual illusions using transparent projection surfaces and controlled lighting.

Bring the Future of Visual Marketing to Life

Standing out in a crowded market means going beyond a flat screen. A Holography Show uses transparent projection surfaces (gauze/scrim) and controlled lighting to create the illusion of a floating subject or image — a life-sized visual presence with real depth, color and motion, built directly into your event space.

What Makes a Holography Show a Game-Changer?

An after movie from a community screening at Niketon Society, on August 5, 2025.

1. Immersive Impact

The illusion depends on the relationship between the visual content, the gauze/scrim surface, lighting conditions, viewing angle and stage environment. It’s engineered through controlled contrast and composition — not a screen trick — so it reads as a real presence in the room, not a video.

2. A Repeatable Production

Holography is one of Studio Z’s newer service lines, but it’s built and offered as a repeatable production — not a one-off experiment. That means it can scale to different venues and formats rather than being a bespoke build every time.

3. Still Rare in Bangladesh

Few productions in Bangladesh run professional holographic staging. Offering one puts a brand ahead of the visual curve — and gives audiences something worth filming and sharing.

Holography by Studio Z BD, production photo 1

Use Cases That Work

Product Launches: reveal a product or feature as a floating 3D presence rather than a flat video.

Brand & Stage Moments: life-size holographic figures, mascots, or storytelling visuals as part of a stage show.

Corporate Announcements: turn a standard presentation into a visually elevated moment.

A demo mock shot on October 1st, 2025 at Studio Stormy Sky.

How Studio Z Delivers It

  • Gauze/scrim projection technique built into the stage design from the start, not added after.
  • Content produced specifically for the chosen surface and stage arrangement.
  • Lighting, rigging and masking controlled as part of the production, not left to the venue.
  • Audience sightlines planned in advance — the illusion depends on viewing geometry.

Proof

Studio Z’s holography work includes the Michael Jackson hologram segment for the Warfaze x MJ Tribute show at BICC, Dhaka — a national-scale live application of the same gauze/scrim technique used in this service.

Concept & Visualization — a stage/content plan aligned to the venue and brand.

Pre-Production — content build, rehearsal, technical prep.

Post-Show Recap — content handed over for reuse.

FAQs

What venue sizes work best? Depends on venue geometry and viewing angles rather than square footage alone — this gets assessed during consultation.

Is it suitable for outdoor events? Only under controlled lighting conditions — ambient light affects the illusion, so outdoor use needs planning.

Can the show be recorded by audiences? Yes — the visual effect holds up well on video, which makes it naturally shareable.

What determines setup time and technical requirements? Venue access, rigging points, lighting control and stage size — assessed per production rather than fixed in advance.

LED Pixel Mapping

Custom LED layouts, original content and audio-reactive visuals built around the stage.

LED Pixel Mapping Service

StudioZ is an LED pixel mapping service provider in Bangladesh. We can turn any event space into a visually stunning work of art. With the help of sophisticated software, businesses and individuals can control the color, brightness, and movement of LEDs.

LED Pixel Mapping turns an LED display into a programmable visual canvas. Studio Z designs content around the actual pixel structure, shape and configuration of the screen, not around a generic flat video file.

What is LED pixel mapping?

Content is built from the display outward. Graphics, motion, camera feeds and effects are shaped to behave as part of the LED architecture itself, including irregular or custom screen shapes.

How We Do It

  • Content matched to exact screen resolution and configuration
  • Custom composition for non-standard LED shapes
  • Live inputs, playback and show timing kept in sync
  • LED hardware sourced and rented per production, so screen size and format scale to the show

Studio Z interactive performance
Studio Z / Immersive Visuals & Shows

Interactive Performance

Choreography, original music, lasers and responsive visuals designed as one performance.

Interactive Performing Act

An Interactive Performance act built by Studio Z fuses live choreography, laser and light design, original music composition and a featured performer into one continuous, responsive system — every movement on stage triggering or shaping the visual and lighting cues in real time, so the performance itself becomes the show’s engine rather than a backdrop to it. Choreography and lighting are built together from the same show script, laser beams and light states timed to the composed score, and the star’s presence framed as the focal point the entire visual system reacts to and amplifies.

Interactive Performance combines live performers or participants with visuals that respond to them in real time. Studio Z engineers the connection between action and image so the audience becomes part of the visual system.

Interactive Performance by Studio Z BD, production photo 1

What is interactive Performing Act

Interaction is built around timing, input and the live performance environment — a reliable link between movement and visual response, not a novelty gimmick.

Interactive Performance by Studio Z BD, production photo 2

How We Do It

  • Choreography, lighting and laser cues built together from the same show script, not layered on after
  • Original music composition scored to match the choreography and visual timing beat-for-beat
  • Interaction engineered around the specific performer and venue, every time
  • Featured performer positioned as the focal point the full visual system reacts to and reinforces
  • Integrated with the wider stage and show system, not run as a side effect

Virtual / Mixed Reality

Immersive videos and interactive experiences for virtual and mixed reality.

Virtual and Mix Reality Production Service

StudioZ is a virtual reality production company in Bangladesh that creates and produces virtual reality content. This can include videos, interactive games, and other immersive experiences.

A virtual reality production company can help you create a virtual reality experience for your business, product or service. They can help you create a custom experience that will engage and excite your customers.

If you’re interested in virtual or mixed reality, or if you want to create a virtual reality experience for your business, contact us today.

What is Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality Production?

Virtual Reality Production is the process of developing virtual reality content. This can include developing the software and tools necessary to create VR experiences, as well as creating the actual content itself.

Mixed Reality Production is the process of creating digital media that combines or blends real-world and virtual objects and environments in a seamless and immersive manner.

Why Virtual Reality Production?

The process of creating a virtual reality experience is similar to the process of creating a traditional film or video. However, there are some key differences.

Firstly, VR content is often created in a 3D environment, which allows the viewer to move around and explore the virtual space. This requires special equipment and software, as well as skilled 3D artists and animators.

Secondly, VR content must be designed for a specific platform, such as a VR headset or a mobile phone. This requires knowledge of various platforms and how to create content that is compatible with them.

Thirdly, VR content must be able to create a sense of immersion for the viewer. This requires careful planning and execution to ensure that the viewer feels like they are actually in the virtual world.

Finally, VR content is often interactive, which means that the viewer can control their experience and interact with the virtual environment. Creating such a believable and engaging experience requires additional programming and design work.

Our working process

The process of creating a virtual reality environment usually starts with creating a 3D model of the environment, along with the models of the objects in said environment. This can be done using a variety of software programs, such as 3DS Max, Maya, or Blender. Once the 3D models are completed, the next step is to create the textures and lighting for the models, which are created and compiled using additional software.

After the textures and lighting are complete, the next step is to create the user interface. This can be done using many different programs, such as Unity or Unreal Engine. Once the user interface is complete, the next step is to create the code that will allow the user to interact with the environment. This can be done using various programming languages, such as C++ or Python.

Once the code is complete, the next step is to test the environment, which can be done using Virtual Reality Software Development Kits.

There are many reasons to choose us as your virtual reality production company. Our team has a wealth of experience in producing high-quality virtual reality content. Technical Direction

One technical vision across departments, systems and cues — from plan to showtime.

Service Announcement · Studio Z BD

Studio Z BD Offers Technical Direction for Immersive Shows and Experiences

Studio Z BD has formalised Technical Direction as a standalone service line. Founder and Technical Director Zunayed Sabbir Ahmed is now engaged directly by organisers, agencies and corporates as Technical Director for concerts, brand launches, expos and immersive productions in Bangladesh.

Studio Z BD · Banani, Dhaka · Available with Studio Z production, and without it

Technical Direction by Studio Z BD, production photo 3

01 · What technical direction covers

The Technical Director is the single technical authority on a production.

The role directs lighting, LED, sound, camera, crew, choreography support and visual production. It sets technical requirements before procurement. It runs the vendor coordination. It produces the technical documentation the entire production executes from. It advances the venue and validates the stage before load-in.

It also does something organisers rarely get from a vendor: it optimises the project. A Technical Director sees where a budget is being spent on capacity that will never be used, and where a small technical decision unlocks a much larger result.

Outside the scope. The role does not cover budget ownership, contracts, ticketing, sponsor obligations or venue operations. Those remain with event and production management.

02 · Why this is a separate service

Studio Z has delivered immersive production since 2015. Projection mapping, LED pixel mapping, laser mapping, holography, live VJ, interactive installations.

Technical Direction is a different job.

On a production where Studio Z supplies visual content and holography, Studio Z is one vendor among several. The Technical Director sits above all of them — including Studio Z. Separating the two roles keeps the authority clean and keeps the client’s interest first.

An organiser can therefore hire Studio Z for production, hire Zunayed Sabbir Ahmed for technical direction, or hire both. Each stands alone.

Technical Direction by Studio Z BD, production photo 4

03 · Why corporates and event managers need one

Bangladeshi productions have become genuinely complex. A single corporate launch now routinely involves an LED vendor, a lighting house, a sound company, a camera crew, a content studio and a stage fabricator. Six companies. Six languages. Six sets of assumptions.

Nobody in that list is responsible for the whole.

Without a Technical Director, that responsibility defaults to the event manager, who is already carrying the client, the budget, the venue and the timeline. Technical decisions then get made late, in the venue, under pressure, by whoever speaks loudest.

With a Technical Director, those decisions are made weeks earlier, on paper, by someone accountable for the result.

Studio Z crew coordinating multiple technical departments from the control panel during a live production

04 · The method

Technical scope definition

Every department’s requirement stated before anything is booked.

Departmental technical riders

Issued individually, so each vendor knows exactly what is required of them and what is not.

Visual and lighting colour guide

The creative direction of each song, segment or sequence translated into documented states that video and lighting can both execute.

A colour palette is a contract. It converts “make this feel bigger” into something two separate technical systems can perform identically.

3D previsualisation

Stage, LED, truss, fixtures, throw and audience geometry modelled before load-in, so departments argue with the same picture instead of discovering conflicts in the venue.

All-party technical briefing

Every vendor in one room before show week.

Consolidated show guide

One reference on show day. Not a folder of files.

Technical Direction by Studio Z BD, production photo 6
Technical Direction by Studio Z BD, production photo 7

05 · Proven at national scale

Zunayed Sabbir Ahmed brings fourteen years and more than 400 productions in Bangladesh, plus twenty-plus international shows across Nepal, Thailand and Qatar.

He is the first certified trainer in South Asia endorsed by Resolume, MadMapper and HeavyM, and authored the first Bengali-language book on projection mapping.

Most recently he served as Technical Director on the Warfaze × Michael Jackson tribute at Hall of Fame, BICC — a 26-song production across six vendor teams that included the first live holographic illusion built for a concert stage in Bangladesh.

A holographic illusion is not a visual effect. It is a light agreement.

Delivering one requires every department to give something up at the same moment, which is precisely why it needs a technical director rather than a supplier.

Technical Direction by Studio Z BD, production photo 8

06 · Who this is for

Multinational and corporate marketing teams running launches, summits and brand experiences in Bangladesh

Event management companies handling multi-vendor productions where technical coordination is absorbing capacity that should be going to the client

Concert promoters and show organisers working at 1,000 people and above

Institutions and government bodies delivering national-scale ceremonies and exhibitions

07 · How engagement works

Technical Direction is engaged per project. Involvement begins at planning, not at load-in. Earlier engagement produces materially better results, because most technical problems are inexpensive to solve on paper and expensive to solve in a venue.

Availability is limited and allocated by production date.

Frequently asked questions

Can we hire Zunayed Sabbir Ahmed as Technical Director without hiring Studio Z?

Yes. Technical Direction is a standalone engagement. Studio Z production is optional and is procured separately if required.

What is the difference between a Technical Director and a production manager?

A production manager runs the operation — budget, contracts, logistics, venue. A Technical Director runs the technical system across all departments. The roles are complementary and are normally held by different people.

Does the Technical Director replace our existing vendors?

No. Vendors keep executing their own disciplines. The Technical Director gives them a coordinated technical plan and one point of authority.

What size of event needs a Technical Director?

Any production with three or more technical vendors, or any production where a single technical failure would be visible to the audience or the client.

Which departments come under the Technical Director?

Lighting, LED, sound, camera, crew and visual production. Budget, contracts, ticketing and venue operations do not.

Do you work outside Dhaka?

Yes, across Bangladesh, and internationally through separate arrangement.
